Gratitude is the quality of being thankful. You should have gratitude for everyday things. For example, having a shelter, having food, having someone to look out for you whether it be family or friends. Being thankful for what I have helps me stay positive. When knowing what others don’t have helps me know how lucky I am. When you feel gratitude show it, it might make someone happy! There is a quote by William Arthur Ward that says,”Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” Gratitude is a powerful feeling and it can change a whole day for you or someone else. Start thinking of what gratitude means to you.

Brynn,
I just read your blog. The title “Confessions of a Writing Geek” caught my eye. I am a teacher, and I am also working on my graduate degree in college and just now learning about blogs!
Your comments on gratitude are very insightful. Thank you for posting this.
